Robin Sharma recently released his 9 keys to business relationships and relationships at work. 

  1. Act like a human
  2. Be one of the few who perfect the endangered craft
  3. Be scarce
  4. Be the most positive person in the room
  5. Go bigger than your paycheck
  6. Be the perfect investment
  7. Get naked in your conversations
  8. Be famous for your reliability
  9. Turn everything into a cover story

I think #4 is my favorite.  Some need further explanation, which can be found here.  What do you think about Robin's list?

  • I like number 8. You need to be true to your word (reliable) for others to trust you. And trust is the foundation of all relationships.

  • I think I like #7 the best because it relates to the importance of honest, accurate, clear and authentic communication.  Critical to any good relationship.
